Adam Pollicino Timothy Reimann Board of AdvisorsJohn P Boesel, III Robert Dziubla Prior to founding Kenworth Capital, Robert Dziubla was the President of Orchid Asset Advisors and Orchid Property Funds, based in Bangkok, Thailand where he also served as Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Dziubla's group acquired, repositioned, and managed the largest direct foreign investment in Thai real estate. Prior to his career as an investor and merchant banker, Robert Dziubla served as a senior international partner at three major law firms (which included Jones Day Reavis & Pogue and Baker and McKenzie, the world's two largest law firms) specializing in international finance, corporate law (including joint venture, merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions), and real estate. He was a founding partner of a boutique Los Angeles-based law firm that he grew to include an office in New York and eight offices in China, with significant Asian and European multinational clients. Here, Mr. Dziubla served as chief legal officer (outside general counsel) to a multinational construction company in charge of restructuring its $2 billion real estate portfolio, which included the largest portfolio of luxury resorts in the world. Robert has also been Professor of International Finance Law and International Business Transactions (Adjunct) at the USC Law School and the University of San Diego Law School, as well as a Commissioner of the Los Angeles County Aviation Commission, where he was responsible for formulating policy on the County's airports, heliports and aviation. Mr. Dziubla holds a BA and JD from Northwestern University, an MA from the University of Chicago, and an LLM from the University of Washington. He was a Senior Fulbright Fellow in Japanese corporate and securities law at the University of Kyoto. In his spare time, Robert enjoys flying. He is a multi-engine, instrument-rated pilot. Robert is fluent in Japanese. He is a 7th degree black belt in Aikido, and won the Gold Medal at the 1993 World Aikido Championship in Tokyo. John Holdsworth John was the former Executive Vice President & President Global Accounts and one of the principals, for the then Phoenix-based, REZsolutions Inc., that provided systems and solutions to over 80 major hotel brands and 6500 independent hotels, prior to its sale to Pegasus Solutions. John also serves as Chairman of the Tourism Development Commission for the City of Scottsdale and as a member of the Executive Committee and Director of the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau. Dale Jensen Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska he began his career as the youngest vice president of The National Bank of Commerce at the age of 23. After only three years, he co-founded Information Technology, a computer software and solutions provider for banks and savings institutions. Revolutionizing the banking industry at a time when rarely anyone could afford a computer, Jensen's software and systems are now utilized in one in four banks across the country. He sold Information Technology in 1996, retiring from his 20-year role as executive vice president to pursue other opportunities. In addition to his real estate investments, Jensen has holdings in technology, professional sports, entertainment, oil and gas exploration, land development, ranch and farm properties and the hotel and restaurant industries. Currently, Jensen is the largest single owner of the Arizona Diamondbacks MLB team and a former partner in the NBA's Phoenix Suns. Richard Schiffrin Mr. Schiffrin began his legal career as an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender of Cook County, Illinois. Mr. Schiffrin represented hundreds of clients in both bench and jury trials, as well as appeals. He then founded Schiffrin Barroway Topaz & Kessler, LLP, a nationally top-ranked firm. Among his many legal successes, he negotiated a $3.2 billion settlement in a highly publicized securities class action against Dennis Kozlowski and Tyco International. Tyco's contribution of $2.975 billion stands as the largest single payment by a corporate defendant in a securities case in history. Mr. Schiffrin also taught legal writing and appellate advocacy at John Marshall Law School in Chicago and has served as a faculty member and lecturer at numerous legal seminars throughout the world. Mr. Schiffrin announced his retirement from his eponymous law firm in February of 2008 and joined Grant & Eisenhofer. In addition to his legal practice, he spends a great deal of his time working on political and philanthropic interests. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association. Additionally, he is on the Board of Advisors to Jackson State University and helps fund programs for The Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at The United States Holocaust Museum. In 2008, Mr. Schiffrin produced the highly acclaimed film Bigger Stronger Faster ('BSF') a documentary about steroid use and abuse. Vern Snider He is currently an independent contractor through his company ProMergers LLC. Prior to ProMergers he was Executive Vice President & CFO at BlueStar Solutions, a Bay area start-up company that was venture funded and sold to a public company. Prior to BlueStar, Vern was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development at then Phoenix based RezSolutions, Inc. that provided systems and solutions to over 80 major hotel brands and 6500 independent hotels, prior to its sale to public company Pegasus Solutions. Prior to that Vern held senior executive positions at The Anasazi Group of Companies, Applied Communications, ITI Marketing, and First Data Corp. |
